Angela is a Colombian doctor who arrives in Chile with her son escaping from a bad love. You cannot exercise because you have not approved your professional title. In the neighborhood where she lives, she is discriminated against by her sullen neighbor, Pedro, who does not like foreigners. Pedro is separated from his wife Trini, an upstart and xenophobic woman, with whom he has two daughters.
